With a Discourse on What Is Called “Usage” in the French Language. 1 volume, in-12, bound in contemporary half-brown calfskin, spine ribbed with floral panels, coat of arms cold-stamped in the center of the covers. Paris: Jacques Estienne, 1709 (FIRST EDITION). There is another edition from the same year published by Moetjens in The Hague. RARE. Corners worn, top cap missing. Interior in good condition. Grimarest is best known for being Molière’s first biographer.
