SCHMIDT-CASSEL, GUSTAV 1867–1954 Title: Bronze Figurine of a Dancer with a Gong. Date: ca. 1930. Material: Bronze, partially polychromed, ivory. Dimensions: Height 25 cm. Mark: On the back of the base, inscribed “Schmidtcassel. fec.” Description: On a round base stands a figurine of a young woman in what appear to be Oriental garments. In her raised left hand, she holds a mallet, and in her right, a gong. The headdress is largely broken off and lost. The EU sales authorization (CITES) has been obtained Condition: Please note that this item was made using materials from endangered species.
