ORIENT A plate made of silica-rich clay, covered with an opaque cobalt-blue glaze and overglaze-painted with metallic highlights, iridescent decoration, and geometric Oriental motifs. The underside features a transparent alkaline glaze tinted with a pale green/turquoise hue. The rim is adorned with a frieze of geometric and triangular motifs painted in lustrous brown engobe.
