I will not be able to come until Wednesday. I am out of Paris for two days. I hope you returned satisfied with your trip. A warm handshake from your old friend Raoul Dufy. The Provençal poet Joachim Marius Alexandre Gasquet (1873–1921) was a close friend of Paul Cézanne. Dufy painted his portrait in 1919 and drew him in pastel in 1929, just as Cézanne had done in 1896.
