Teaching Gymnastics and Military Exercises Through Images. Paris, Ikelmer, circa 1880. Chromolithographs labeled on the back, 12.5 x 9 cm. An illustrated method intended for teacher training colleges, possibly published for school battalions in the context of the quest for revenge following 1870. - 30 color images: “ Physical Culture in 30 Exercises,” circa 1900, chromolithographs, illustrations by René VINCENT (1879–1936), 6.5 x 10 cm (nos. 3, 8, 11, and 13 are missing; some duplicates). Advertisements on the back, mostly for Chicorée A la Ménagère - “Physical Culture”: approx. 40 images of movements illustrated in a minimalist style, 12.5 x 8 cm. Circa 1950 Also included: a Belgian picture album from the “Les Sports Illustrés, Super chocolat JACQUES” collection. 10 sports disciplines spread across double-page spreads, 24 images per page.
