Rare book, makeshift binding The course is preceded by the Bally report and general considerations by the curator of the Versailles library. Phokion Heinrich Clias was a great humanist and versatile figure in the early days of Gymnastics, playing the role of an informed pioneer. He was also a pioneer in women's and military practices (swimming).
