GALLÉ WORKS (1904–1936) “Clematis” Single-flower vase; pear-shaped base, long neck ending in a flared opening. A multilayered glass piece featuring a rotating title motif etched with acid and treated with a parma finish on a shaded gray background; finished with a so-called “fire-polished” finish. Signed GALLÉ, engraved in cameo style with acid on the reverse. H.: 31.5 cm.
