MOLDED MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS The recessed front features five drawers; the white marble top rests on rounded legs with fluting and scalloping, ending in tapered, fluted feet; beautifully decorated with gilded bronze frames and panels. Stamped by François-Antoine Canabas, a cabinetmaker who received his master’s certification in 1779. Louis XVI period. H.: 90 cm, W.: 131 cm, D.: 61 cm.
