Titounet and Titounette, Happy Easter: Original Artwork from the Album. 1964–1968 [reprinted 2005]. 23 original plates (22 plates measuring 28 x 22 cm and 1 cover plate measuring 30 x 24 cm) in India ink, with their coloring tracings, in a cardboard folder with a handwritten title. These 23 plates, created for the weekly magazine *Perlin et Pinpin* between 1964 and 1968, were later compiled for their reissue as an album by Éditions du Triomphe in 2005 under the title *Joyeuses Pâques*. A collection of 11 stories, each 2 pp. long (signed “Marie-Mad” on the second page): Titounet, the Pancakes, and Doudou / Titounet and the Snowdrops / Titounet and His Friends’ Houses / Titounet Gets into an Argument / Titounet and the Fishing Game / Titounet, Top, and the Cuckoo / Titounet and Welcoming the Birds / Titounet and the Scent of Lily of the Valley / Titounet and the Lizard’s House / Titounet and the Easter Egg Hunt / Titounet, Spring, and Summer. Included is the original signed cover illustration for *Perlin et Pinpin* (No. 19, 1964), which was reused for the 2005 album. Annotations in the margins and on the reverse side; small stains in places; plates and tracing papers held together with adhesive tape. Provenance: the artist’s studio.
