MARIE-MAD (Marie-Madeleine BOURDIN, known as). Perlin: 3 large original color plates. 1981. 3 original color plates (approx. 43 x 32.5 cm) published in the magazine Perlin in 1981 (No. 13). Signed “Marie Mad.” on one of them. Each plate consists of 8 vertical strips cut out and glued onto heavy paper, creating an alternation between two wordless stories: one featuring Titounette, Titounet, and their friends playing in nature with April Fools’ pranks, and the other depicting poetic roller coasters filled with children and whimsical characters against a pink and green background. Layout marks, handwritten annotations, and a date on the reverse. A small tear on one support sheet, a few strips slightly peeling away, and minor, insignificant wear along the edges. Provenance: the artist’s studio.
Delivery is optional. You can use the carrier of your choice. The stated price does not include the lot price or the auction house fees.
