A collection of 9 Titounet stories published in the weekly magazine *Perlin et Pinpin* in 1969; each story includes, unless otherwise noted, 2 Chinese ink plates (signed “Marie-Mad” on the 2nd plate) and 2 colorization tracings: Titounet and the First Day of School / Titounet and Trottinou (unsigned story) / Titounet and the Autumn Forest / Titounet and the Grape Harvest / Titounet and Top’s Anger / Titounet, Pluchon, Doudou, and Their Friends (unsigned story illustrated by Jeannette Rabiller based on a handwritten note) / Titounet and the Wind’s Games / Titounet and the Strange Animal / Titounet and the First Wednesday in November. Annotations and dates in the margins and on the reverse, a few stains and marginal creases affecting mainly the tracing papers, adhesive tape in places. Provenance: the artist’s studio.
