Rozenburg The Hague – Art Nouveau earthenware vase – circa 1900 Glazed earthenware vase from the Rozenburg The Hague factory, crafted in the Dutch Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century. Slightly baluster-shaped with a flared neck, it is adorned with a rich polychrome decoration of stylized flowers, foliage, and plant motifs, accented by broad swaths of cobalt blue and gold and black details. The composition, characteristic of Rozenburg’s production, reflects the influence of the decorative arts of the Secession movement and Japonism. The reverse bears the printed mark “Rozenburg den Haag,” accompanied by model number 192. Details: Height: 24 cm – Weight: 1.017 kg.
