Large Traditional African Leather Shield – Central Africa Description: A traditional shield made of thick leather, elongated and slightly domed in shape, adorned with a geometric relief design composed of triangular motifs and interlacing bands. Original polychrome paint in shades of ochre, brown, and black. The reverse side features a twisted leather handle. Beautiful patina from use. Condition: Signs of age, wear, crazing, and small losses along the edges. Dimensions and weight: H. 90 × W. 47 cm – 1.400 kg.
