In the center, the crucified Christ dominates the composition, accompanied by three female figures in prayer and lamentation, including Mary Magdalene kneeling at the foot of the cross. A skull symbolizing Golgotha is depicted in the foreground. In the background, a rolling landscape and religious architecture complete the scene. The figures feature deeply carved drapery, enhanced by polychrome painting in shades of red, green, and brown. The piece is set within a rectangular, painted wooden frame, reminiscent of an altarpiece or religious decoration. Condition: Wear and deterioration of the polychrome paint, craquelure, vertical cracks in the wood, small chips, and losses. Signs of age and possible earlier restorations.
