China – Carved Stone Seal – 20th century Chinese seal carved from hard stone with pink, beige, and gray marbling, topped by a large button carved in the round depicting a qilin amid scrollwork and an openwork sphere. The square-section shaft is adorned with a geometric frieze engraved below the knob. The base bears an inscription engraved in Chinese characters that forms the seal’s matrix. A decorative Chinese piece from the 20th century. Details: Height: 11.5 cm – Seal base: 4 × 4 cm – Weight: 400 g.
