MAGNIFICENT GEMSTONE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE Date: ca. 1890/1900. Material: Silver, 585/- red gold, hallmarked. Weight: 73 g. Measurement: Length 42 cm. Diamonds: Approx. 210 diamonds in various old cuts, totaling approx. 7.5 ct., J-M/SI2-P. Gemstones: 60 round, faceted gemstones, emeralds and rubies, Ø approx. 1.6–3.3 mm. Description: Segmented late Victorian necklace, set with alternating round faceted rubies and emeralds interspersed with small diamonds. Graduated pendants adorn the necklace, accented with diamond settings. The lower diamonds are claw-set, and some of the smaller stones were likely added at a later date.
