Fresh copies from a well-known and rare series of prints Set of 6 etchings (385 x 290 mm) depicting Fontebasso, Maggiotto, Canal, Pittoni, and Amigoni. The engravings belong to a series of 25 portraits of contemporary painters that Longhi had compiled under the title *Compendium of the Lives of the Most Renowned Historical Painters of the Present Century*, dedicated to Senator Giovanni Francesco Pisani. The plates consist of two sheets: an ornate outer frame and an inner plate printed within it featuring the various portraits. Fresh copies of a well-known and rare series of prints (6 engravings)
