Title page with woodcut printer’s mark, large portrait of the saint, typographical ornaments, 18 woodcuts in the text (reinforced title page, woodworm holes with partial loss on the first and last leaves, a few loose quires, foxing, sporadic stains.) Contemporary full-parchment binding, traces of binding strips (spine reinforced). Some of the woodcuts imitate the sgraffito style of early Florentine illustrations. The scenes depict the saint in prayer, the miracles of the roses, the spring, and the water turned into wine, the apparition of the Virgin and the angels, the saint’s death, and the miracle of his body, as well as other episodes from his life.
