W.: 149 cm (58 ½ in.) D.: 80.5 cm (31 ¾ in.) An English William IV-style gilt-brass-mounted walnut partners’ desk CONDITION REPORT: Fair overall condition. Wear, scratches, and marks on the leather surface, which is also sun-faded. Signs of wear on the gilding, which is tarnished and rubbed in exposed areas. Traces of gouging in places. A few shrinkage cracks and a few vertical splits on both sides of the two coffers. A few impact marks on the exposed areas of the feet. The veneer is sun-faded. The decorative design has excellent proportions.
