In-16 (15 x 8.6 cm), pink percaline Bradel binding, gilt decoration on the front cover depicting flowers and a woman’s face, cover intact. First edition illustrated with black-and-white engravings by Georges Picard, engraved in the workshops of the publisher and printer Edouard Guillaume. Binding soiled; gilding on the front cover slightly faded; small losses around the woman’s face; faint wormholes on the pages. Provenance: Gérard Lévy Collection.
