As the brand’s first production model equipped with a liquid-cooled, overhead-camshaft engine, its 1,130 cm³ “Revolution” V-twin—developed in collaboration with Porsche—delivers 115 chevaux. In 2003, to mark the American manufacturer’s centennial, the V-Rod received a special 100th Anniversary edition, recognizable by its unique paint scheme and commemorative emblems. The model we are presenting here has an unusual provenance: it is the motorcycle used on stage by illusionist Dani Lary as part of one of his grand illusion shows. As a testament to this stage use, the artist wrote a dedication with a marker directly on the fuel tank cover. Finished in the two-tone black and gray color scheme unique to the centennial editions, this V-Rod has never been registered and has never been driven on the road; its odometer reads only 3 kilometers from new. Given that it has never been ridden since new, a complete mechanical overhaul and recertification will be necessary before any road use, as well as the administrative procedures required for initial registration if its future owner wishes to ride it.
