2008 PIAGGIO CIAO • French vehicle registration certificate • Serial number: 42678263768 • No technical inspection Introduced by Piaggio in 1967, the Ciao is a moped characterized by its monocoque structure made of stamped steel sheet, its 49.9 cm³ single-cylinder two-stroke engine, and its belt-driven secondary transmission. Designed as an affordable and lightweight urban mobility solution, it also features pedals that allow it to be ridden in bicycle mode. It is one of the Italian brand’s greatest commercial successes, with more than 3.5 million units produced over the course of its production run. The model shown is original and unrestored.
