A fine copy on Holland paper, enhanced with an original drawing and an autograph letter signed by Vertès. In Barcelona, Atarazanas (Barrio Chino), Year I of the Catalan Republic [Paris, René Bonnel, 1932]. In-4 (210 x 270 mm), loose-leaf, filled and printed cover, in a plain slipcase and the publisher’s case. 52 unnumbered folios, 32 original black-and-white lithographs by Vertès. A few small brown spots on the slipcase. First illustrated edition of this collection of 61 erotic poems, adorned with 32 black-and-white lithographs by Marcel Vertès, including 18 full-page illustrations. Limited edition of 170 copies; this is one of the 150 numbered copies on Holland paper (no. 154). [Dutel, no. 2228 - Pia, 1155]. This copy is enhanced with an original erotic drawing by Vertès on fine typewriter paper and an autograph letter signed by him to an unknown recipient (2 pages, in-4 format, with creased and frayed top margins). A beautiful copy with the interior in perfect condition.
