Venetian painter, 17th century THE TRIUMPH OF VENICE oil on oval canvas, 128x92 cm Pittore veneto, sec. XVII TRIONFO DI VENEZIA olio su tela ovale, cm 128x92 Provenance - Genoa, private collection. The present painting replicates, in reverse and with some variations, the monumental canvas (904 × 508 cm) executed by Paolo Caliari, known as Veronese (1528–1588), in 1582 for the Doge’s Palace in Venice.
