XVII-XVIII INCONTRO TRA ESAÙ E GIACOBBE olio su tela, cm 148x192 The work is a copy after an autograph painting by Giovanni Maria Bottalla (1613–1644), now housed in the Galleria d’Arte Antica at Palazzo Barberini. It may correspond to the painting mentioned in the Inventario generale di Quadri dell’Ecc.ma Casa Barberini, drawn up in 1844 at the behest of Prince Francesco Barberini of Palestrina.
