"Bohème Noir" Set, MONTBLANC, ca. 2000. Fountain pen and ballpoint pen in black precious resin, with platinum-plated accents and faceted black synthetic onyx on the clips. Fountain pen with a retractable 14-karat (585) gold nib, rhodium-plated. Cartridge-filling system. Ballpoint pen with twist mechanism. Comes with the original case, outer box, and service guide. New, never used. The Bohème collection stands out within Montblanc’s lineup for combining a compact design with particularly elaborate mechanical features. In the “Noir” fountain pen, the nib can be fully retracted into the barrel, keeping it protected when not in use, while the black synthetic onyx incorporated into the clip identifies this variant of the series. The polished black resin and platinum-plated finishes give the piece a understated aesthetic characteristic of Montblanc around the turn of the millennium.
