ABSINTHE SET - c.1900 Set of three original ceramic advertising pyrogènes. ABSINTHE E.DENISET in very good condition (faded gold trim). 9.3 x 8.5 cm. Stamped on the bottom: “S.Renaud” CUSENIER OXYGENATED ABSINTHE in very fine condition (faded gold trim). 9.6 x 8.6 cm. DUTRUC ABSINTHE, glazed, in fine condition, with slight chipping of the glaze on a few letters. PYROGEN: A 1900s-era bistro item designed to be placed on tables to hold matches, which were struck against its rough surface, and to display an advertisement.
