LA MOUCHE SOAP - c.1920 Original lithographed and embossed advertising sheet metal. 35 x 24 cm. “G. De Andreis . A. Mercier - Agent - Marseille” Good overall condition - With well-preserved colors. The silver plating on the wings is clearly legible with subtle fading. There are only slight traces of oxidation and localized discoloration, mainly in the lower portion, as well as a few tiny areas where the gilding is missing along the borders. Founded in Marseille following an initial trademark registration in 1893 by the firm J. Bonnaud, the Savonnerie de la Mouchese expanded to industrial scale in the 1920s under the direction of Félix Tourasse.
