GOODRICH - c.1930 "Soft Balloon Cord" Tires Rare, original, single-sided, flat enamel advertising sign with folded edges. Generous size: 97 x 26 cm. -Rare horizontal version- Good overall condition— featuring very fresh colors and a beautiful original sheen. There are a few superficial imperfections located exclusively along the edges, as well as subtle scratches from normal use. At the bottom edge, the metal shows two slight distortions along the outer border, which do not affect the design. -Very satisfactory specimen- In 1870, Dr. Benjamin Franklin Goodrich founded a rubber factory in Akron, Ohio, in the United States. Initially, the factory produced bicycle tires, then automobile tires, and finally tires for the aviation industry. In 1927, Goodrich tires were fitted to Charles Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis during his historic transatlantic flight. The brand has been part of the Michelin Group since 1990. Headquarters in Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine, Île-de-France
