Komincz 1977 ...", various annotations on the back of the stretcher frame such as "Piotr Komincz" and a Polish annotation "Jesień na przedmieściu Pragi [Autumn on the outskirts of Prague]", as well as a German annotation ‘Herbst’ and an illegible stamp on the canvas; slight signs of ageing; originally framed; inner dimensions approx. 65 x 79.5 cm. Artist’s biography: Polish-Belarusian painter (1927, Noniżki, Lida district [Lidzki na Kresach] in the province of Nowogródek - 2017), studied painting in Minsk, Belarus, subsequently worked in Warsaw, member of the Association of Visual Artists, featured in numerous Polish exhibitions as well as in exhibitions in Berlin, Plovdiv, Bobruisk, Nowogródek, Florence, London, Novosibirsk, Kassel and Minsk, source: internet.
