Benno Kögl, a cat with three kittens by a basket In front of a basket by a meadow, a mother cat with three little kittens - two males - whilst the mother gazes longingly at the viewer; another kitten is playing with a fringe of cloth; a very charming depiction, oil on panel, c. 1962, signed lower right; on the reverse, several labels from the art dealer and framer Josef Weber, as well as an old restoration label dated 14 July 1972 from the workshops of the art dealer Josef Weber in Mainz; black frame; inner dimensions 18 x 23.5 cm.
