Eleonore Seidel, Floral Still Lifes A fragrant spring floral arrangement featuring daffodils, tulips, sugar roses, crocuses, bluebells, snowdrops, liverwort, golden stars, primroses and wood anemones in bright sunlight; a delicately rendered floral painting in a cheerful, light colour palette, watercolour over a delicate pencil sketch, c. 1950, signed ‘Eleonore Seidel’ lower right, original framing label on the reverse reading ‘Kunsthandlung Fritz Geyer, Plauen …’, according to the previous owner, the artist is believed to be from Reichenbach in the Vogtland region; slight signs of age; framed in its original glass and mount; mount dimensions approx. 62 x 48 cm.
