after Keith Haring, pair of prints “Huggin Figures” and “One Man Show”, colour offset lithographs, late 20th century, each framed behind glass, inner dimensions approx. 67.5 x 68.5 cm and 67.5 x 50 cm. Artist information: prominent American Pop Art artist (1958, Reading, Pennsylvania - 1990, New York); studied at the Pittsburgh School of Art from 1976 to 1978; held his first solo exhibition in 1978 and moved to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts, where he met Jean-Michel Basquiat, amongst others; took part in the Times Square Show in 1980; participated in the Whitney Biennial in São Paulo in 1983, where he met Andy Warhol; in 1986, he opened the Pop Shop in SoHo, New York; between 1980 and 1985, he created the ‘Subway Drawings’ and also took part in documenta 7 in Kassel; source: Wikipedia.
