Artist information: American painter and graphic artist, pioneer of Op Art (1930, Erie, Pennsylvania, USA - 2020, Englewood, New Jersey, USA), studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art from 1948 to 1953, 1953-55: studied at Yale University in New Haven under Josef Albers; the Museum of Modern Art acquired his first works as early as 1960; participated in numerous international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale and documenta in Kassel; from 1994, a member of the National Academy in New York, Source: Wikipedia.
