Adam & Eve alms bowl probably Nuremberg, 16th century, unmarked, with an inscription: “Es de la confraria del St. Cristo de le Spital General”, embossed brass, wide alms bowl; the centre panel features an embossed depiction of the Fall of Man, showing Adam and Eve at the Tree of Knowledge, around which the serpent winds, with a pseudo-inscribed ribbon winding around it; the mirror and flag feature circumferential embossed leaf stamps and ornaments; wall mounting on the reverse; accompanied by a brass stand, polished, historically restored and soldered, D 41 cm.
