Mantel clock with figurative finial in the style of Jacob Petit, Thuringia, second half of the 19th century, two-part Baroque form, tall, rectangular, curved rocaille body with volute feet and a detachable finial depicting a sultan seated on a rock formation with a sabre, lavishly decorated with polychrome overglaze painting, blue and purple background, floral painting in the reserved areas and lavish gold decoration, round clock case with enamelled dial, Roman numerals, half-hour chime and pendulum, numbered 277, in good condition, professionally restored, movement starts running, H 34.5 cm.
