Rosenthal Fruit Set “The Lovers” eight pieces, designed by Raymond Peynet in the 1950s, signed, green stamp marks dating from after 1957, one ‘studio-linie’ mark from 1961 onwards, embossed model numbers 2210 and 2205, and hand-painted decoration number 1534, comprising an oval bowl, six oval plates and an elliptical vase, each with polychrome overglaze decoration depicting a couple as gardeners with fruit; one plate has two chips on the rim, some of which have been restored; otherwise in good condition; H vase 21.5 cm, L bowl 23.5 cm, L plates 19 cm each.
