Meissen pair of ceremonial bowls with relief decoration underglaze blue sword marks, one from the Pfeiffer period 1924-1934 and one with the year mark for 1961, both 1st , incised model number C169 as well as embossed and brush numbers, deeply moulded oval bowl with opulent, partly openwork relief decoration featuring large rocaille and shell motifs, on the interior a fine polychrome overglaze painting as ‘Flower 2’ or ‘Scattered Little Flowers’, rich gold-bronze and glossy gold decoration as well as a gold rim; gilding very slightly worn, otherwise in good condition; L 33 and 33.5 cm.
