Meissen ceremonial bowl ‘Red Rose’ underglaze blue sword mark, post-1948, first-grade quality, embossed and brush numbers as well as the year mark for 1991, a concave form with rich concentric relief decoration comprising a large six-part shell motif flanked by a reed motif; in the small centre panel, decoration ‘Flower 1’ in fine polychrome overglaze painting, glossy gold accents and a gold rim, good condition, D 31.5 cm.
