Sèvres dinner plate with imperial monogram probably from a dinner service belonging to His Imperial Majesty Napoleon III or a state gift commissioned by Napoleon; green factory mark and red gilder’s mark dated 1860/1861, engraved mark L 60-4, slightly concave shape with a royal blue glazed rim, the initial ‘N’ beneath an imperial crown (for Napoleon III) in fine gold paint on the centre of the plate, gold rim and gold thread on the foot ring, good condition, diameter 23.5 cm.
