Gianni Versace, two “Barocco” tea sets from the “Rosenthal meets Versace” collection, design by Paul Wunderlich and decorative design by Gianni Versace, circa 1995 for Rosenthal, gold and black Medusa head marks from after 1992, some details of shape and decoration as well as control number; shape ‘Mythos/Ikarus’; sumptuous polychrome overglaze decoration in shades of orange and brown, featuring rocaille, volute and acanthus motifs as well as rich gold accents; one plate has minimal scuff marks, otherwise in good condition; height of each cup 7 cm, diameter of each plate 18.5 cm.
