Allegorical female bust “L’automne” ‘Autumn’ from a series depicting the four seasons, probably by Ernst Wahliss, c. 1900, unsigned and unmarked, with an indistinctly incised model number 1320 and 23/12?, light-coloured shard with earth-coloured overglaze painting and subtle gold decoration, on a square plinth bearing the title; bust of an Art Nouveau beauty with flowing hair and gown, the latter and the straw hat decorated with a corn cob, with minimal chipping, otherwise in good condition for its age, H 84 cm.
