Wächtersbach bowl in the shape of a snake presumably an ashtray, embossed and green triangular mark 1893-1911, with the additional inscription ‘Geschützt Registered Deposé’, model number 3834 and number 31, cream-white earthenware with grey-brown underglaze decoration, round shape, the body shaped like a coiling snake with the central handle bar forming a sculpted head, a continuous vertical hairline crack at the base of the handle; otherwise in good condition for its age; diameter approx. 12 cm.
