WMF Geislingen large Art Nouveau jardinière circa 1910, ostrich mark I/O, OX, silver-plated metal, insert of colourless glass with olive-cut and notched-cut decoration, oval mount with rolled-in handles on the sides, all decorated with stylised floral and ornamental openwork and reliefs, cartouches on both sides engraved with ‘Carolina’ and ‘Minne på 60 års dagen 19 19/8 13’ (Norwegian? - commemorating the 60th anniversary on 19 August 1913), insert with a small chip, otherwise normal signs of age, L 58 cm.
