1415 - French Militia armband. Made of black wool cloth. Silver cannetille trim running around the armband. Gama insignia in cannetille; the cannetille is oxidized. The back of the piece is double-layered white cotton fabric. Complete fastener with two prongs. Remnants of a stamp on the white portion, illegible. Note some wear and patina on the item, as well as stains and signs of moth damage. Condition II+. Black wool French Milice armband with silver-embroidered Gama insignia, white cotton backing, original fastening, and signs of wear.
