An artillery lieutenant’s kepi, with a leather visor and band, a damaged fake chin strap, and a slightly misshapen crown. A second lieutenant’s kepi from the 12th Mounted Chasseurs, with a silver-thread-embroidered initial, leather visor and band, damaged lining bearing the stamp of the tailor Plaznet in Saumur, and numerous moth holes. A pharmacist lieutenant’s kepi, with a leather visor and band, and a brown satinette lining bearing the tailor’s mark.
