A Walther K 43 semi-automatic rifle, marked "ac44," with a ZF4 scope Caliber 8x57JS, No. 6649; the serial number was partially altered using an electric engraver. Polished barrel. Valid German proof mark from 1986. Manufactured by Walther, Zella-Mehlis. Ten-round capacity. Acceptance marks: eagle/"359". VOPO star and No. 22 stamped on the left side below the sight base. Rifle overhauled, including renewed bluing, which shows slight signs of wear. Discreet demilitarization on the action, receiver, and sight (set to 300 m) in accordance with the legal requirements at the time. Matching-number laminated wood stock, likely replaced, and butt plate with cover in very good condition; the pin bearing nut is missing. Original magazine, manufacturer code “gcb.” Fitted with a ZF 4 scope, marked “Gew ZF 4 dow 26860,” technically and optically sound. Mounting straps and screws are replicas. Original leather eyepiece and objective lens covers; the straps are torn. Incorrect sling attached; correct cleaning rod and front sight protector. Very pleasing overall condition. Length: 112 cm.
