A Brno Arms Factory Model 98/38 Persian Contract Cal. 8x57JS, No. R8801, matching number in Farsi. Polished barrel, length 74 cm. German proof mark from 1993. Manufactured by the Brno Arms Factory. The Persian coat of arms is on the cartridge case; the manufacturer’s name is inscribed in Farsi on the left. Complete original bluing. The lock is polished white. Walnut stock with matching serial number, featuring four sling swivels and a cleaning rod. Complete with a matching bayonet with a blued steel scabbard. The firearm is still partially coated in its original, dried-out grease. Good condition with slight arsenal marks, which can be improved through careful cleaning. Length 124 cm.
