A Shansei Arsenal C96, with shoulder stock Caliber .45 Auto, No. 1177, matching serial numbers. Polished barrel, length 5½". Ten-round capacity. German proof marks from 1995. Sliding rear sight graduated 100–1000. On the left side of the frame, marked in Chinese as “Type 1”; on the right, “Shansei Provincial Arsenal 1929.” Original bluing with slight signs of wear. Hammer and bolt are bare metal. Light-colored wooden grip panels with 14 cross-grooves. Trigger guard. Includes the original carrying case from that period. Wood free of stress cracks. Ferrule without a number. Wood and metal parts in good condition, without markings. Rare collector’s item from 1929–30, part of a total production run of 8,500 pieces. Good condition.
