A Mauser Parabellum, Swedish contract, 1940 Caliber 7.65 mm Luger, No. 7557 w; the serial number matches that of the magazine; the firing pin and grip panels have no serial numbers. Polished barrel, length 10 cm. Eight-round capacity. German proof marks: eagle and “N” only on the trigger guard, not on the barrel or frame. The receiver bears the year “1940” and a small Mauser barrel emblem on the front hinge. Later trigger stop screw. Complete, original high-gloss bluing with minor signs of wear, primarily on the front and rear of the grip. The yellow and blue annealing colors on the small parts are well preserved. Walnut grip panels with fine fish-scale grain, hardly any signs of wear. Blued folding magazine with aluminum base, marked “7557/w.” An exceptionally well-preserved piece from an extremely limited series manufactured for the Swedish civilian market.
